Important Notes and Details

As the nation marks its 250th anniversary, the America’s largest industrial trade association—an official partner of America250—will use this year’s NAM State of Manufacturing Address to focus on a central question: how manufacturing in the United States powered the nation’s innovation, sustains its competitiveness today, and will determine what comes next.

NAM President and CEO Jay Timmons will outline the priorities shaping manufacturing in the year ahead, including innovation, tax policy, regulations, permitting reform, energy dominance, workforce, and trade—along with the conditions required for manufacturers to compete and win globally. The program will also feature perspectives from senior manufacturing leaders, top policymakers, and regional leaders engaged in strengthening manufacturing and expanding opportunity across communities.

The NAM State of Manufacturing Address will launch the 2026 NAM State of Manufacturing Tour, a national series of events showcasing modern manufacturing, American ingenuity, and the policies needed to translate American innovation into long-term growth, opportunity, and leadership over the next 250 years.
